Guided Tours

Information system for visitors

Our audio-guide provides you with everything you need to know about the Fraumünster church: its meaning and history, the Reformation in Zürich, the Chagall and Giacometti stained-glass windows, and much more. The audio-guides will also lead you through the exhibition in the newly opened crypt.

Two different devices are available:
On our audio-guide with touchscreen, visitors are able to call up additional multimedia information to enhance their normal audio tour experience.

Our second device combines touchscreen and keyboard technology, guaranteeing easy use for all visitors. Visually impaired visitors can be accommodated with a special keyboard, and the hearing impaired with a text and image based tour. We also have an interactive tour for kids, to allow for playful exploration of the church.

A pre-installed group function also allows our devices to be used as a whisper system for spoken tours, allowing for unencumbered communication between tour guides and tour participants.

Opening Hours

The Fraumünster Church is closed for groups during the Corona-Crisis.
For individual visitors, for personal preyor the church is open as follows:

Monday – Friday: 13.00 – 18.00
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 10.00 – 18.00
